Gift to Your Future Self
- stress & overwhelm - Melissa’s favorite -
What can you do now to make life easier for yourself in the future?
If you ever find that you have extra time or energy now, consider using that time or energy to give a gift to your future self, who might not have the same time or energy then.
For example, you might consider:
picking your outfit the night before
automating emails that need to go out later in the week
pre-preparing the ingredients for dinner (mise en place)
Morning Paper
- stress & overwhelm - Nick’s favorite -
Similar to how people living before the internet got their daily news from the morning paper or the evening news, pick a particular time of day for guilt-free consumption of news and social media. Then put those apps away for the rest of the day.
Try this for a few days, and see how it affects your daily life. You might be surprised!
