Before Photo
We know it’s tempting to just start ripping things apart, but before you proceed to “demo,” pause to take a “before” photo.
That way, when you finish the project, you have something to compare the “after” to, which will help you celebrate all the work you’ve done. Without a before photo, its difficult to imagine exactly what the space looked like beforehand, and easy to under-appreciate how much better it looks now.

Bonus: Take an “after” picture from exactly the same angle for a one-to-one side-by-side comparison. If so inspired, print both pictures and put them in your Project Quartz journal as a reminder of the journey you and your space went on together.
