“Doing the Laundry”

Think of a chore (or other chore-like task) that you’re not very excited about doing.

For example, say you’re not excited about doing the laundry. Ugh.

From this day forward, you will no longer be “doing the laundry, ugh.”

Instead, you will be “Doing the Laundry.”

In your Project Quartz journal, brainstorm ways that you can make “Doing the Laundry” a meaningful, enjoyable ritual, rather than just another boring chore.

For example, you might consider adding music, scents, mood lighting, or special foods or beverages. Anything that will make the moment more meaningful and enjoyable.

Now try “Doing the Laundry,” then reflect on how it went.
