Energetic Black Holes
Energetic black holes are those things in your life that low-key annoy you, but feel too minor and/or daunting and/or frustrating to do anything about, so they constantly sap your energy without you really noticing.
For example, is the growing pile of clutter on the kitchen table interfering with the joy of your morning coffee? Is there an appointment you need to make, but you keep thinking about it when it’s too late to call and schedule it? Is there something on your to-do list that’s been there so long that the guilt of not doing it is causing you to put it off even longer?
Energetic black holes are often difficult to identify unless you’re really paying attention, so as you go about your week, keep an eye out for them, and whenever you find one, record it in your Project Quartz journal.
As you have time and energy to do so, pick one of these energetic black holes and close it. Enjoy the feeling of re-gaining the mental energy that this energetic black hole was secretly sapping for all that time.
