Roles and Goals
We all have a variety of different roles we play in our lives and different goals for each of them.
In your Project Quartz journal, list three major roles you play (e.g., teacher, father, husband).
Then, for each role, write down your overarching goal for each role. For example:
Teacher: Make the world a better place, one student at a time.
Father: Raise a happy, healthy human.
Husband: Bring out the best in my wife, and allow her to bring out the best in me.
Whenever you’re feeling a little bit lost, re-center yourself by coming back to these essential roles and goals.
Variation: Roles and Goals (Growth Edition)
In addition to defining your overarching goal for each role, you can also define growth goals for any of them that you feel inspired to. For example:
Husband: Find more time to be husband and wife without talking about parenting or business.
