While You’re Waiting

You know those times when you’re waiting for something? For example, when you’re waiting for tea to brew, for the oven to preheat, for your friend to arrive, to pick up your kids from school, etc.

Instead of mindlessly occupying yourself (e.g., on social media) during that time, intentionally choose to do something that will benefit you.

For example, you might start or complete another chore, respond to a message from a friend, do something that will make life easier for your future self, or take a moment of mindfulness.

In your Project Quartz journal, brainstorm some of the common situations in which you find yourself waiting, and some intentional things you could do during those times.

Nick and Melissa both independently invented this tool around the same time, as Nick was waiting for his bath to fill and Melissa was waiting for her tea to brew.
