Year In a Word

Reflect on the past year (or quarter, or month, or day, whatever period of time makes sense to you).

Choose the word that is most representative of what you experienced or learned during this period of time.

Record this word in your Project Quartz journal.

If desired, make some kind of artistic representation of your word to commemorate this period of time.

Variation: The Year of _____

Alternatively (or additionally), you can pick a word at the beginning of the year (or quarter, or month, or day) to set an intention for that period of time.

Note: You can still do this even if you’re in the middle of the chosen period of time (i.e., if you’re reading this in May, you can still pick a word for the rest of the year).
