Having trouble starting something? Try not starting at the beginning. Instead, start in the middle.

In your Project Quartz journal, brainstorm 5 things you need to do for your project/task at some point. These things can be anything that needs to be done at any point in the project.

Pick any one of them and do it! (Perhaps the easiest one, or the one you’re most inspired by!)

In medias res is Latin for “into the middle of things.” It’s traditionally used to refer to a narrative work that begins in the middle of the action.
