Sommelier of Feelings
In order to better understand how you’re feeling, imagine you are a sommelier, and your feelings are a fine wine. As you allow yourself to “taste” the feeling, ask yourself:
What are the tasting notes of this feeling?
For example: “happiness on the nose and gratitude on the palate” or “full-bodied nostalgia with an aftertaste of ennui.”
Next, ask yourself:
“What does this feeling pair well with?”
For example, “doing a little happy dance” or “putting on comfy clothes and watching my favorite show.”
Record your tasting notes in your Project Quartz journal.
