Ass in Chair
Showing up = progress.
So just show up where the work happens (e.g., for writers, who invented this tool, that’s at their desk with their “ass in chair”), and see what happens. If the works happens elsewhere, just show up there (e.g., to go for a walk or run, just put on your shoes; to go to a meeting across town, just get in the car; to study for a test, just open the book; to make art, just pick up your tools).
Even if progress isn’t linear (and it almost certainly won’t be!), by consistently showing up, you’ll give yourself your best chance at it. After all, even “a small step in the right direction is still a step in the right direction.”

If/when inspired, reflect in your Project Quartz journal about putting your “ass in chair” (or equivalent).
