Ask for Help
Take a moment to identify a problem that you could use help with, and write it down in your Project Quartz journal.
Next, identify several different aspects of this problem that someone could help you with (for example, brainstorming solutions, freeing up your time, providing resources/assistance, giving encouragement, etc.).
For each aspect, identify at least one person who could help you with it.
Pick one person/aspect combination, and make the request!
Variation: Help Actually
To adapt a quote from the intro of Love Actually, “If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that help actually . . . is all around.”
Who in your life has offered to help you? These offers could be recent and specific, or long ago and general.
In your Project Quartz journal, record these offers to help.
If there are any offers you want to accept right now, go for it! Otherwise, you now have a list of help that future you can draw on.
