Transition Ritual

Identify a transition point in your day and craft a ritual that carries you from one phase to the other. For example, what might you do to mark the transition between:

  • Office life and home life (or vice versa)

  • Parent time and spouse/adult time

  • Working out and going out

Your transition ritual could involve anything from changing your clothes, to drinking a special beverage, to putting on a particular kind of music, etc. Anything that helps you clearly define that you’re entering a new phase of your day, which has its own unique vibe.

In your Project Quartz journal, list some of the transitions that regularly occur in your daily or weekly life, and brainstorm some ways t0 mark those transitions.
